New Direction!!!

Dear Viewers,

The Blog is to take on a new direction from now on, it will be heavily based on Information Technology gathered in substantial detail along with other interesting articles which are relevant to the youth of today. Its new direction is to equip viewers with substantial factual information that has been crosschecked and polished to ensure quality. This will mean that all articles will be checked with a team and it will  be deduced weather it carries weight and substance that will educate the society targeting the youth.

Community Net

There is a need for a protected Intra Country net (could be called Community Net) which should be under the Ministry
of Home Affairs. This system should quickly check the outgoing requests and the nature of the request if it is in regards to local
websites or information systems there should be a local access policy that governs how the site is accessed. This will in turn protect the integrity of ones right to privacy when retrieving information that is important for the country but not wanting others in the world
outside to know that they have looked up that site to protect ones interests not letting the world know that they are interested in a certain piece of information which holds dear to them. outside access to these sites are allowed but
inside access to these same sites should be considered private and no outside hacker should be able to gain access to
such information. In other words the sites can be accessed by both international and local people however the international people will not be able to identify who is accessing a local website if the person is within Tanzania. Internet Privacy holds many benefits in protecting national interests avoiding eavesdropping that can cause risks to national security. especially with regards to the Military websites and government plans.

Tell me what you think about such a concept this topic is up for discussion, I will be updating it from time to time as I get your feedback. Tell me whether you know some information about what is currently going on in the high speed internet networks of Tanzania and how they are managed and what is wrong with them.

Book Review: The Penguin Atlas of African History

This is a great book illustrating Africa throughout the ages... It is very helpful in understanding ones heritage and what went on in the past and to try to make sense of it all. It has a map on each second page and text to describe what the map illustrates. some of its concepts are hard to grasp but the big picture is clear enough to understand the basic History of Africa from ancient time to the Scramble for Africa and the Modern Times.


It is a good read and can Help one wanting to go deeper into a specific time knowledge for e.g. if you read about the Bantu and their travels eastward we just get the picture of where they were and where they went, but if you would like to know more you could research on the web about what kind of people the Bantu were and how they went about their daily business, their lifestyle, and their culture. In short it is a very useful reference book which if used with research can give someone a better picture of what went on in the Continent.
